A couple of weeks ago I was invited to an event hosted by Fizzbox, an events company based in Brighton. They offer epic events across the UK and Europe and make it super simple to talk directly to venues (to avoid pesky booking fees) and book everything online.

We started at Brown’s for afternoon tea and champagne, which was soo lovely. There was a range of cakes and sandwiches on offer, my particular favourites were the scones and coffee flavoured cake. Yum. Brown’s is in Brighton’s south lanes, and was the perfect spot for pre-cocktail food.

Then we headed on to Revolution for cocktail making! I think it’s the first time ever I can remember all of a night in Revolution… ha 😉

The cocktail masterclass was in one of the recently renovated private bars, which was BEAUTIFUL! Exposed brickwork, pops of copper and plants? Dreamy.

We were welcomed with prosecco and an espresso martini, and then I stupidly volunteered to try a shot. I thought it would be something tasty like bubblegum or apple but no… it was XXX Hot Chilli vodka. To say I nearly died was an understatement. I couldn’t breathe it was so spicy!!! The actual taste of it was quite nice, but after… dear god. I won’t be having one of those again haha.

Then it was our turn to make some cocktails. Me and Ola made a Tropical Storm – which had rum, coconut and tropical red bull to finish. It was deeeelish.

After many (many!!) more cocktails, we had more food. Mini burgers, chicken strips and fries were exactly what I needed before I staggered home!

Fizzbox kindly gave us gift bags which included a Revolution discount card, a selection of Benefit makeup and the most AMAZING cake pop made by Hannah’s Cake Pops.

If you’re hosting a hen or stag do, or any kind of party really, I would so recommend Fizzbox. There are sooo many activities to choose from – you can really tailor what you want from the experience and the staff are so friendly. I’d only met a couple of the bloggers who attended and by the end I felt like I’d known them all for years. Thanks so much Fizzbox for having me!
