It’s the day before payday. The only money I have to my name is a crinkled five-pound note. I need to get lunch – so my logical first step is post on slack asking for advice from my work pals…
They suggested Yefsis – a place on London road that serves Greek food. Nearly everyone said it was amazing, so off we headed! The interiors are beautiful – white walls with illustrations by local artists, wooden shelves with plants and a big board with all the food on.
I went for the chicken souvlaki which came in a pitta. It had tzatziki, tomatoes, salad, red onion, loads of chicken and the best bit? It came with chips. IN THE PITTA. Oh my god.
For £5.50 it had lots of meat, was really good value and I was really full. Winner! I will DEFINITELY be going back to try one of the hunger platters – maybe in there, or maybe on Deliveroo 😏
This looks amazing, i must try it out soon,
